#54 Jiffy

Every year around this time I make a corn bread for family gatherings using Jiffy Muffin Mix.  Every year a magic little elf moves my leftover boxes to the back of the pantry and I end up buying new boxes of Jiffy Muffin Mix.

In 2021 I am not going to let the invisible elf beat me.  Here is my detailed plan:

STEP 1) I will use up the old boxes I bought this year before buying new ones!

Of course, I am kidding about the elf. But this “Dad-joke” analogy can apply to skills we acquire, experiences we had, and confidence in our talents or abilities.

It’s worth it to take the time & remind ourselves of what we have in our “pantry” and how it can help us in the future.
