#7 The Bloom Will Never Be Off This Rose

Hello my love.

It seems like only yesterday we were sitting together making those music mixes in condo living room.  You were the first girl I ever made a “mixed tape” for.  Yes, they were workout tunes, but there were hidden messages of love sprinkled in them.  It sounds very junior high-ish when we talk about it…but it was absolutely perfect to me.

I still remember the feeling in my stomach when I first looked into your eyes and told you “I love you.”  It was scary, but well worth the risk!  I wanted to say it earlier but… the dating rules are very clear about when it is appropriate!

We came into each other’s lives at just the right time.  We both had lots of love to give.  I think we both realized that, and we have never left each other’s side since.  I just think of all we have experienced so far.  Perfect wedding, perfect child, perfect house…we accomplish so much together, and it’s only just begun.

If there is a way to describe love without words, all anyone would have to do is watch you with our son.  I am so lucky to be able to see both of you every day.

He loves you so much!

You are so selfless, so caring, and so giving.  When you hold and cradle him it calms me down and lets me know that everything is going to be fine as long as we are all together.

You give me passion for everything I do.  You are the biggest influence in my life.

You are the perfect woman for me.  I can’t wait for the rest of my life with you and Blake.
