#8 Everything happens for a reason
Everything happens for a reason, right?
The answer is yes…and no.
We use the word “reason” to rationalize whatever happened. But that reason is not the reason the “whatever” happened. There was a cause behind what happened. There is random coincidence behind what happened. There is luck and chance behind what happened. There may even be a completely random reason behind what happened.
If something happens and the reason has nothing to do with you, how much time and energy are you putting into it?
Pay attention to the things that do happen around you and learn from them, rather than ignoring a lesson the situation may be teaching you. Don’t waste your time on the things that won’t make your life better.
