#19 Promises

Don’t ask people for promises, and don’t try to be rescued by those people you asked to promise. Make a promise to yourself, and if you sink in that quicksand, you can die knowing you fought to get out of a pit so many others never jumped into.

Go to the grave knowing you did everything you are capable of doing.
